Openbank Mexico seeks a Head of Banking to define and lead the banking strategy, building a scalable and commercially sound proposition aligned with growth and regulatory requirements.

The role covers end-to-end management of the banking business, including P&L, customer growth, deposits, payments, and pricing, with governance across multiple functions and strong collaboration with global standards.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience in retail banking, digital banking, deposits, payments, fintech or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end banking strategy for Openbank Mexico, including product scope and growth roadmap.
• Own the banking P&L, balancing customer growth, pricing, funding, and profitability.
• Lead end-to-end management of the banking business, including growth, activity, retention and value.
• Shape the product and commercial strategy across current accounts, savings, payments and deposits.
• Partner with Product, Data and Technology teams to design digital journeys and pricing.
