Job summary

Openbank Mexico is seeking a Head of Banking to define and lead the banking strategy. You will own the P&L and drive end-to-end management of the banking business, including customer growth, deposits, payments, and everyday banking capabilities.

You will shape the operating model, govern cross-functional teams, and partner with Product, Data and Technology to design digital journeys and pricing. Fluency in Spanish and English is required for success.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English (required).
• Significant senior experience in retail/digital banking or fintech.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end banking strategy for Openbank Mexico, including product scope and growth roadmap.
• Own the banking P&L, balancing growth, pricing, funding economics and profitability.
• Lead end-to-end management of the banking business, including customer growth and retention.
• Shape the operating model with clear governance across Business, Product, Risk, Operations, Finance, Data and Technology.
• Partner with Product, Data and Technology teams to design digital journeys, pricing and lifecycle strategies.
