Job summary

Openbank Mexico is seeking a strategic Head of Credit to define the end-to-end credit strategy, oversee portfolio performance, and shape the operating model. You will own the credit P&L and drive growth while balancing risk and profitability in a fast-moving market.

The role requires senior experience in credit products, strong data-driven decisioning, and fluency in Spanish and English. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across Product, Risk, Finance, and Operations to deliver

Qualifications

Significant senior experience in credit, lending, consumer finance or credit cards.
Proven track record defining or scaling credit strategies in finance.
Experience owning or managing P&L and portfolio performance in credit.
Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Define the end-to-end credit strategy for Openbank Mexico across product scope and growth roadmap.
Own credit P&L, balancing origination, pricing, risk and profitability.
Lead portfolio management and performance across the credit lifecycle.
Design the credit operating model with governance across teams.
Develop policies and decisioning frameworks aligned with risk appetite and regulation.
Partner with Product/Data to design digital credit journeys and scorecards.
