Arrow Electronics is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Hardware Engineer to join our team in Guadalajara, MX. The role focuses on hardware integration, component evaluation, and system architecture, acting as the primary liaison with our main supplier for advanced interconnect solutions.

You will work hybrid: 3 days in office and 2 days remote, collaborating with customers to tailor product fits while overseeing projects from concept to production release. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Product customization experience preferred.
• Connector industry experience (IP&E) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand needs and advise the best solution.
• Translate opportunities into a great product fit with the customer.
• Maintain knowledge of a wide range of products and components.
• Finite element analysis.
• Stress and force calculations.
• Dimensional, electrical, and force analysis equipment.
• Signal integrity for high-speed electrical signals and applications.
