Emerson in Mexico City is seeking a hands-on hardware engineer to design, build, and validate customer-specific test and measurement solutions. You will bridge electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software interfaces to deliver reliable systems for transportation applications, documenting results and supporting integration with customers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical discipline.
• Typically 2+ years of hardware development and system integration experience.
• Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams and datasheets.
• Hands-on with lab equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
• Basic software capability in LabVIEW, Python, C, or C++.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Advanced English (B2+) required.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and clarify customer requirements, interfaces, and acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to effort estimates, BOMs, and risk identification for hardware work.
• Design and implement electrical and electronic subsystems for custom test solutions.
• Select and configure T&M hardware based on specs and integration needs.
• Create and maintain block diagrams, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and test procedures.
• Bring up and troubleshoot test systems combining hardware, software, sensors, and devices.
• Perform structured debugging using measurements, logs, and traces.
• Support verification, factory acceptance, installation, and customer commissioning.
• Develop or modify basic software utilities for hardware control and validation.
