Qualifications

• University degree or higher in engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of customer-facing experience in global companies.
• Strong leadership and strategic delivery skills.
• Experience in energy transmission or Digital Grid.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; intercultural collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing an established team of engineers and consultants, fostering technical excellence, continuous improvement, and employee engagement while ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Acting as a strategic communication bridge, aligning local execution with Digital Grid Americas leadership and supporting informed decision-making.
• Engaging directly with utility and industrial customers, building trusted relationships and positioning our Digital Grid portfolio as the partner of choice.
• Driving sales initiatives and business development, identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and expanding the Digital Grid footprint in Mesoamerica.
• Promoting cross-segment collaboration, enhancing operational effectiveness and ensuring cohesive delivery across teams.
• Monitoring market trends and reviewing KPIs, applying insights to strategies and reporting quarterly performance to the Head of Digital Grid Americas.

What You Bring

• University degree or higher in engineering discipline.
• 10 or more years of customer facing experience. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
• A strong track record of leadership and strategic delivery in global companies, with solid knowledge of the energy transmission and Digital Grid market.
• Previous experience managing engineering or technical project teams in power grids or similar fields, demonstrating proven ability to lead, mentor, and deliver results.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish (additional languages a plus), with experience working in intercultural, globally distributed teams.
• Prior experience in business development or sales within the energy transmission, Digital Grid sector, and/or experience engaging with major utilities or industrial clients.
