Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly organized Banquet & Events Manager for a premier hospitality group in Mérida, Yucatán. You will oversee all aspects of gastronomic events, coordinating with clients, culinary teams, and service staff to ensure flawless execution from inquiry to completion.

You will develop customized menus and beverage packages, manage budgets, lead event staff, and uphold health and safety standards while driving revenue and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Banquet/Event Manager in hospitality.
• Strong event planning, catering operations, and F&B management.
• Excellent client relationship management and sales skills.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in menu planning, budgeting, and contracts.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of event software and POS systems.
• A passion for creating memorable events and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico.
