Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Events and Experiences Project Coordinator to support planning and execution of brand events in Mérida, Yucatán, MX. The role combines remote and on-site tasks, requiring sharp coordination with vendors and internal teams to deliver memorable experiences.

You will help manage budgets, timelines, and post-event analysis, while contributing creative ideas for themes and attendee engagement. Fluency in Spanish is required, English helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or management.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment, managing tasks remotely and on-site.
• Fluency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of various events, including corporate functions, conferences, and brand activations.
• Manage event logistics, such as venue selection, catering, A/V setup, and transportation.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all event requirements are met.
• Develop and track event budgets, processing invoices and managing expenses.
• Create event timelines and project plans, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Support on-site event management, including registration, guest assistance, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in the development of event marketing materials and communication strategies.
• Gather feedback and conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain event documentation and databases, ensuring accuracy and organization.
• Contribute creative ideas for event themes, activities, and attendee engagement.
