Amcor in Mexico seeks a Technical Sales & Development Manager to act as the primary technical interface for strategic enterprise accounts, driving growth through proactive engagement and new product development.

This hybrid role collaborates across R&D, plant technical and quality teams, sustainability managers, and global customers to translate complex requirements into sustainable packaging solutions, while ensuring timely deliveries and alignment with sustainability goals.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
• Experience in packaging, technical sales, or product development in plastics/packaging.
• Knowledge of plastic conversion processes, injection molding, mold design and manufacturing.
• Industry/regulatory knowledge of FMCG packaging requirements, food safety, sustainability and recyclability standards.
• Excellent customer-facing communication; ability to influence without authority and collaborate in a matrix environment.
• Project coordination skills across multiple sites, with the ability to manage timelines, risks and priorities.
• Strategic thinking and an innovation mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary technical interface for strategic enterprise key accounts.
• Drive growth via technical engagement, new product development, and cross-site coordination.
• Translate customer technical requirements into feasible, competitive, and sustainable packaging solutions.
• Collaborate with R&D, plant technical & quality teams, sustainability managers, and global customers.
• Manage technical feasibility, quality deviations, mold and machine challenges, and customer change requests.
• Balance customer demands, technical feasibility, cost and timing across multiple plants and regions.
• Deliver technical recommendations independently; seek approval for major investments and commercial terms.
• Support innovation pipelines and account growth through new articles, materials and concepts.
