Job summary

The Chemours Company in Altamira, Mexico, is seeking a Sr. Payroll Analyst to join our People team.

This role oversees end-to-end payroll processes for biweekly and monthly cycles and ensures compliance across exempt, non-exempt, and multi-state employees. You will partner with Finance, Compensation, and Benefits, support SOX controls, and help implement process improvements while maintaining accurate payroll data and timely year-end activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant work experience; alternative: 5 years in lieu of a Bachelors.
• 3+ years of experience with end-to-end payroll processing in a large multi-state corporation.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Thorough knowledge of payroll-related state, legal, tax, and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong payroll process knowledge in a decentralized environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer end-to-end payroll processes for biweekly and monthly cycles.
• Ensure compliance for exempt and non-exempt employees, including garnishments and bonuses.
• Assist with resolution of payroll data errors and system issues; research solutions.
