Job summary

ProTrans is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Monterrey to handle transactional work with carriers and internal teams, focusing on improving customer experience. You will be the main day-to-day contact, support plant operations, and help identify supply chain improvements.

The role covers border-crossing coordination, expedited shipments, and daily reporting while collaborating with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely billing. Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• +1 year of industry experience within logistics and/or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation or business-related field.
• Automotive logistics experience preferred but not required.
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally to customer locations within the ProTrans International network.
• Experience using web-based business intelligence tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with TL carriers to confirm pickups and deliveries, exceptions and perform check calls in ProTrans TMS System.
• Facilitate successful border crossing operation and notify customers about deviations in customs process at the border.
• Arrange expedite shipment needs and communicate with ProTrans Expedite team.
• Assist customers' plants with daily operational issue resolution.
• Escalate service level issues to Operations Manager.
• Communicate holiday schedules to customers and/ or internal adjustments at ProTrans.
• Ensure customers are aware of exceptions in performance, delays, etc.
• Ensure reporting is distributed daily, weekly and monthly.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to secure timely billing.
