Job summary

Banamex in Mexico City is seeking a GOV Relationship Manager to deepen client relationships within government banking. You will call on clients, anticipate needs, and collaborate with product specialists to tailor innovative solutions while guiding onboarding and ensuring KYC and compliance deliverables are met.

The role requires 6–10 years of banking experience, strong credit and risk assessment skills, and excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in banking or financial services.
• Proven ability to provide sound banking and financial advice and solutions to clients.
• Demonstrates advanced credit skills and ability to structure complex deals.
• Strong communication, influencing and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Calls on government clients to deepen relationships and proactively identify needs, roadblocks or risks.
• Introduces solutions with product specialists to meet clients’ requirements.
• Oversees onboarding and ensures KYC and compliance deliverables.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities to grow share of wallet.
• Collaborates with case management and other teams to ensure secure, seamless client experience.
