Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions partners with a global automotive leader to hire a Senior R2R Accountant for its Shared Services center in Mexico. The role focuses on asset accounting, general ledger, month-end close, and CAPEX accounting in a multinational environment.

You will manage fixed asset lifecycle, perform month-end close, monitor CAPEX/WIP, ensure SOX/IFRS/US GAAP compliance, and support audits. Advanced English is required and experience in a SSC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in Record-to-Report (R2R), General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Month-End Close.
• Strong knowledge of CAPEX, reconciliations, WIP, and financial controls.
• Experience with OneStream, BlackLine, JD Edwards (JDE), and advanced Excel.
• Advanced English required MUST.
• Previous experience in a Shared Service Center environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
• Perform month-end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.
• Monitor CAPEX and WIP projects, ensuring accurate accounting and financial controls.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external audits.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, IFRS, and/or US GAAP.
• Maintain accurate and timely MDM updates.
• Drive process improvements and standardization across R2R activities.

Candidate Profile
