Yinlun TDI, LLC is seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our Monterrey finance team. The role focuses on maintaining accurate ledgers, leading month-end closings, and producing financial statements in an international business environment.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing accounting experience, strong Excel and ERP skills (SAP/Plex/Oracle/Dynamics), and must communicate effectively in English. This position reports to the Finance Manager in Monterrey.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Approximately 6 years of General Ledger accounting experience with manufacturing industry experience.
• Solid month-end closing, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and journal entries experience.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for accurate reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, amortization, reclassifications, and other month-end closing entries.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Support audits, tax compliance, and internal controls.

Job Title: General Ledger Accountant

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico

Reports To: Finance Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team in Monterrey, Mexico. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, leading month-end closing activities, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The successful candidate should have solid manufacturing accounting experience and be able to communicate effectively in English within an international business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, amortization, reclassifications, and other month-end closing entries.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve outstanding discrepancies.
• Reconcile fixed assets, inventory, payroll, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Support external audits, internal audits, tax compliance, and internal control activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and financial records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting accuracy and compliance.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional Experience

• Approximately 6 years of General Ledger accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience is required.
• Strong experience with month-end closing, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and journal entries.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Plex, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional English communication skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Experience working in a multinational company.
• Knowledge of internal controls, audit support, and tax compliance.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
