ALPLA INC. seeks a Finance Specialist to oversee General Ledger, Record-to-Report and Fixed Assets across South America. You will lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes, ensuring accuracy, control, and timely reporting.

The role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, 3+ years in GL/R2R/Fixed Assets, and strong Excel. English fluency (B2–C1) is expected for regional collaboration and audits.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in General Ledger, R2R, Fixed Assets or related accounting processes.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes.
• Experience performing account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Solid understanding of Fixed Assets accounting and lifecycle processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 expertise highly valued.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• English B2–C1 with regional/international Finance communication.

Responsabilidades

• Execute and oversee General Ledger, Record-to-Report and Fixed Assets activities across South America.

• Manage and oversee the fixed asset lifecycle and accounting treatment.
• Perform and review account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies.
• Conduct variance analysis and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Support financial reporting activities and ensure data integrity.
• Act as SME for GL, R2R and Fixed Assets, guiding analysts and regional stakeholders.
• Ensure SOX compliance, internal controls, accounting policies and audit readiness.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and readiness.
• Collaborate across South America to align local requirements with standardized regional processes.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and optimize accounting processes.
• Participate in automation and continuous improvement initiatives in R2R, GL and Fixed Assets.
• Coach analysts and support knowledge transfer within the Finance Hub.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex accounting issues.
• Develop expertise in regional Record-to-Report operations and South America accounting.

• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely execution.
• Manage and oversee the fixed asset lifecycle, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment and control.
• Perform and review account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Conduct variance analysis, investigating deviations and coordinating corrective actions with the appropriate stakeholders.
• Support financial reporting activities and ensure the integrity and accuracy of accounting information.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for General Ledger, R2R and Fixed Assets topics, providing guidance to analysts and regional stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, accounting policies and audit requirements.
• Support internal and external audits, maintaining appropriate documentation and ensuring audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Finance teams across South America to understand local requirements while promoting standardized regional processes.

• Participate in and lead automation and continuous improvement initiatives related to R2R, GL and Fixed Assets.
