IKEA is establishing its presence in Mexico City (Oceanía) and seeks a motivated team member to support store management and drive the development of the business. The role emphasizes floor presence, customer service, and collaboration with co-workers to deliver an inviting shopping experience.

You will lead by example on shift, focusing on customer engagement, achieving goals, and helping teammates grow within an energising retail environment that reflects IKEA values.

Competenze

• Experience of working in vibrant retail environment.
• Experience of serving customers.
• Experience with KPI-driven action plans.
• Knowledge of IKEA merchandising techniques is implied by role.
• Experience supervising and working in a team.

Mansioni

• Support store manager to fulfil the purpose of the function and develop the IKEA business in the area of responsibility.
• Spend at least 80% of time on the floor, listening, acting, helping and supporting customers and co-workers.
• Lead by example when the area manager is not present, without direct reports or development talks.
• Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere with irresistible food offers and a focus on customer return.
