Job summary

Confidential Careers in Guadalajara is seeking a Junior Account Manager to drive growth in the flavors sector. You will manage B2B relationships, pursue new business, and support commercial initiatives across multiple food and beverage categories.

The role requires a commercial mindset, knowledge of the food industry, and the ability to collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Procurement and Operations to deliver value-added solutions. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food engineering, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of B2B commercial or sales experience, preferably in flavors, food ingredients, or related industries.
• Experience using CRM tools or sales management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow business within assigned customer accounts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across food and beverage categories (Beverages, Culinary, Confectionery, Snacks, Bakery, Dairy).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders across R&D, Marketing, Procurement and Operations.
• Develop account plans aligned with customer needs and commercial objectives.
• Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities through customer engagement and prospecting.
• Conduct customer visits and business reviews to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Coordinate internally with technical and commercial teams to support customer projects.
• Maintain accurate customer, project and opportunity information using CRM systems.
• Support sales forecasting, pricing proposals and commercial negotiations.
