Malvern Panalytical, Micromeritics and SciAps seek a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair scientific instruments at customer sites. You will travel within the defined territory, perform diagnostics, replace parts, and ensure service quality while documenting activities.

The role requires strong electronics/mechanical knowledge and experience with test equipment, within a global, customer-focused team.

Formación

Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting end-user utilisation of particle characterization or scientific instruments.
Associate degree or 2+ years specialised training in electrical/mechatronics or related fields.
Understands circuits, wiring/connectors, analog/digital communications, power adapters and transformers.
Knows mechanical/plumbing systems including gas distribution, flow and pressure chambers.

Responsabilidades

Travels within assigned territory by car, train, or plane and provides installation and support of instruments.
Performs field maintenance and repair of instruments and components.
Completes service reports and documentation following good laboratory practices.
Promotes service products and contracts to customers.
Maintains equipment, tools, parts inventories, and safety supplies.
