Job summary

Atlas Copco in Querétaro, Mexico, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair our adhesive dispensing solutions for electronics manufacturing. You will work on-site and remotely, visiting customer plants, diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment uptime and performance.

You will document service activities, analyze failures, and identify service opportunities while collaborating with customers and colleagues to continuously improve

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
• Previous experience in maintenance or production environments.
• Hands-on experience with equipment inspection, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze equipment failures and determine technical solutions.
• Ability to work with technical documentation and service information.
• Experience using repair and testing tools/equipment.

Your mission as Field Service Engineer ELD is to provide expert installation, maintenance and repair services for our advanced adhesive dispensing solutions focused on the electronics manufacturing sector, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of customer service. You are committed to ensuring the performance and longevity of our solutions at our customers' production plants through your expertise. Your work is key for supporting the operational success, efficiency and sustainability in our customers' production lines.

Your day-to-day will be hands‑on and customer focused. You will visit and support customers by inspecting equipment, diagnosing issues, carrying out preventive maintenance and repairs, and ensuring technical problems are effectively resolved. You will also stay close to customers to understand their needs, document your service activities, and identify additional service solutions that can support their operations.

Your skills and experience

Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.

Previous experience inmaintenance or production environments.

Hands‑on experience withequipment inspection, maintenance, and repair.

Strongtroubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to analyze equipment failures and determine appropriate technical solutions.

Ability to work withtechnical documentation and service information
