Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a seasoned COE Manager to drive ERP system implementation and manufacturing engineering activities across satellite departments. You will ensure standard cost reporting and perpetual inventory while leading a cross-functional COE to share best practices and provide training.

The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing and ERP/MRP expertise, with strong leadership and a proactive change-agent mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field.
• 8+ years of Management experience.
• 8+ years of Manufacturing experience.
• ERP system implementation active participation.
• Extensive knowledge of MRP and ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze and write reports and procedures.
• MBA preferred though not required.
• APICS Certification preferred though not required.
• Knowledge of computerised information systems and manufacturing material flow.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage ERP systems and Manufacturing Engineering activities to fully implement ERP and report standard cost and perpetual inventory.
• Oversee COE services across departments from project start to closure.
• Lead the COE to provide best practices, research, support and training.
• Develop and implement plant layouts matching ERP systems including SCM setups, work centers, product families and routings with cycle times using lean tools (5S, standardized work, Kaizen).
• Provide feedback during initial validation stage to achieve standard cost reporting and perpetual inventory.
