Job summary

SLS Playa Mujeres Cancún, part of Ennismore’s luxury All-Inclusive Collection, is seeking an Assistant Entertainment Manager to lead guest experiences and guest-facing activities at this new luxury resort in Playa Mujeres, Cancún, Mexico.

The role requires strong leadership, a creative mindset, and a passion for hospitality excellence. You will oversee daily entertainment operations, develop teams, and ensure brand standards across events, live performances, and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Entertainment Management, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory or coordination experience in entertainment, recreation, events, or guest experiences, preferably within luxury hotels or upscale resorts.
• Demonstrated experience leading operational teams and coordinating activities for diverse guest profiles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily entertainment operations, ensuring activities are delivered efficiently, punctually, and in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
• Develop and coordinate engaging recreational, social, and lifestyle activities that enhance guest satisfaction and participation.
• Coordinate live performances, themed activities, events, and entertainment experiences with professional presentation and seamless execution.
• Supervise, coach, and develop the entertainment team to foster accountability and high performance.
• Ensure warm, personalized guest interactions and proactive service with attention to detail.
• Monitor safety protocols and service standards across entertainment touchpoints; identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Front Office, Guest Experience, Security, Marketing, and other departments to deliver integrated experiences.
• Monitor budget, expenses, and resources for cost-effective operations.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally with a solution-oriented approach.
• Suggest new entertainment concepts aligned with luxury hospitality trends and brand identity.
