Job summary

Forvia in San Luis Potosí is seeking an Engineering Change Engineer to drive timely changes across programs. You will coordinate change requests, manage BOM audits in SAP, and support the transition from program launch to serial production.

The role requires strong SAP expertise, cross-functional collaboration with customers and manufacturing teams, and hands-on knowledge of automotive change processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• Hands-on SAP and BOM management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience managing engineering changes within automotive environments.
• Customer-facing experience and ability to read 2D/3D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering change implementations for programs.
• Evaluate change requests with the Serial Program Manager.
• Configure and maintain SAP BOMs for serial production and new projects.
• Ensure changes are reflected in systems and documentation.
• Support BOM transitions from program to serial production.
