Job summary

Eaton Group in San Luis Potosí seeks a Change Control Engineer to drive engineering changes and optimize manufacturing systems. You will coordinate MCOs, develop standard work, and integrate process improvements across the assembly line.

The role requires a mechanical/industrial engineering background, 3 years in manufacturing, and English at a conversational level, with strong cross-functional leadership and ERP/CAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechanical Administrator, Industrial Engineer or equivalent.
• 3 Years’ experience in Manufacturing or Engineering environment, ideally in the automotive industry.
• English language at conversational level required.
• Ability to communicate, write, make presentations and lead Cross Functional Team meetings.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Outlook, ERP Oracle, CAD System (Solid Works, AutoCAD, etc.) E Matrix & Minitab
• Enovia 2015X (Drawings and Management of Engineering Changes).
• Skills at Interpreting Mechanical, Assembly and Process Drawings.
• Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Manufacturing Processes Knowledge & Assembly
• PROLaunch. (Introduction of New Part Development, VAVE, new models, products, etc.)
• Core Tools Knowledge.
• ISO, IATF 16949 & Specific Customer Requirements.
• Internal Auditor is a plus.
• Six Sigma (Green Belt) is a plus.
• CQI-9, CQI-12 & CQI-15 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the System of Engineering Changes (MCO) and manage all Change Orders.
• Develop and update Standard Work Documentation for the assembly line.
• Integrate, sustain, and improve manufacturing systems and infrastructure.
• Provide real-time information to support business decisions and system uptime.
• Review new part drawings and processes for proper utilization in operations.
• Comply with EQMS and Change Management procedures.
• Support on-site with Item Classification and Technical Information for SAT & TSMX.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address Operations, Manufacturing & Quality issues.
