AVL Software and Functions GmbH in Mexico City is seeking a Calibration Engineer to perform engine calibration activities on test beds. You will address ECU-related issues, adapt calibration data for smooth operation, and drive improvements to enhance engine KPIs during testing.

The role expects a background in engineering, data analysis skills, and proficiency in English; German is a plus. The company offers training, annual bonuses, and employee medical coverage with shared costs.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, or similar field.
• Genuine interest in internal combustion engines.
• Knowledge of automotive communication systems (CAN, etc.).
• Ability to analyze data and present testing results clearly.
• Strong coordination and teamwork.
• Good knowledge of English; German desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Solve ECU-related issues during engine test bed testing of internal combustion engines.
• Adapt calibration data to ensure smooth engine test bed operation.
• Lead development and implementation of improvements to prevent ECU issues and improve engine KPIs.
