Job summary

AVL México offers a role focused on engine calibration activities on an engine test bed. You will solve ECU issues during test bed testing and adapt calibration data to ensure smooth engine operation.

The role also involves driving improvements to reduce ECU-related problems and improve KPIs for engine performance. The ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical engineering background, knowledge of CAN and automotive electronics, and strong data analysis and teamwork skills, with good English

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• Genuine interest in internal combustion engines.
• Knowledge of automotive electronics.
• Familiarity with automotive communication systems (CAN, etc.).
• Ability to analyze data and report testing results.
• Strong coordination and team skills.
• Good English; German language desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out engine calibration activities on engine test bed.
• Solve ECU-related issues during engine test bed testing.
• Adapt calibration data to ensure smooth operation and improve KPIs of engine operation at test bed.
• Steer development and implementation of improvement measures to avoid ECU issues.
