Job summary

ABB in Mexico is seeking a role focused on creating and delivering bids, estimates and quotations aligned with customer requirements and budget. You will balance ABB units and customer needs, crafting competitive proposals with the right product mix, cost details and trading terms, while ensuring timely, accurate documentation.

The position supports the Automation Energy industries division with a hybrid work model and cross-functional collaboration across sales and engineering teams to maintain

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a similar role.
• Microsoft Office package advanced leveling (e.g. being able in Excel to create pivot tables or manage advanced formulas)
• Knowledge and experience in proposal development and customer specification interpretation (commercial knowledge required for proposal preparation).
• Basic knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Intermediate English communication skills (oral and written)
• Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Calculating a budget value for the sales team or customer to evaluate customer willingness to invest using appropriate level of details.
• Managing the preparation of all technical and commercial documentation (e.g. defining the most suitable technology and product type, financial (e.g. total price sheet, cash flow analysis), indicating prices and trading conditions).
• Collaborates with sales teams and engages with customers when required.
• Ensuring that, in accordance with bid/estimate/quotation planning, inputs for editing activities are provided on time and follow established quality procedures.
