Job summary

ABB is seeking a bid/estimate analyst in Mexico to create and manage bids and quotations that meet customer specifications and margin targets. You will balance ABB units with customer needs and present competitive proposals with the right product mix and cost transparency.

The role requires SAP basics, Excel mastery, and strong English communication. Hybrid work arrangement applies, with collaboration across sales and engineering teams to ensure timely proposals.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Experience in proposal development and interpreting customer specifications.
• Basic knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Intermediate English communication (oral and written).
• Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and complete bids/estimations/quotations based on customer specifications and budget.
• Maintain balance between ABB units and customers in the area of responsibility.
• Formulate competitive bids with appropriate product mix and cost considerations.
• Ensure timely, detailed proposals with full and accurate costs.
• Coordinate with sales teams and customers when required.
