Electrolux Group in Ciudad Juárez is seeking an Industrial and Process Improvement Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes across the facility. You will work with manufacturing engineers in a team to solve problems, promote lean initiatives, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include standardizing workflows, time studies, line balancing, tooling coordination, and participating in EMS/ISO standards adherence.

Formación

• BS degree in Engineering.
• Bilingual English – Spanish.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related areas.
• Computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to solve problems and implement new processes.
• Promote lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Kanban) to improve records.
• Develop standard work sheets, time studies, and line balance.
• Assist with tooling purchasing, pilot runs, and new model launches.
• Ensure EMS/ISO 9001/14001/45001/50001 compliance and Green Spirit/Zero Waste practices.

Job Description

Provides support and improvement of manufacturing processes throughout the facility. Activities performed include Industrial and Process Improvement Engineering (lean manufacturing processes), to ensure the volume and productivity levels committed in Class “A” metrics, reliability of manufacturing processes, ergonomic considerations for a safe and continuous operations, risk-free to the operators; on-time delivery of products.

• Works directly with manufacturing engineers in a team environment for problem solving, buy-in and support of new processes.
• Implementation & promotion the lean manufacturing operation, 5 S’s discipline, Poka Yokes design, KAIZEN, KANBAN, TPM, DFP, QUALITY CIRCLES, DMAIC, SMED and other initiatives, to continuously improve upon our own records.

• Standard Time studies & line balance
• Process flow chart & Work Instructions developing.
• Production tooling purchasing order placing.
• Cost reduction projects leading.
• Development of IE forms, work instructions and procedures.
• Production operators Trainer & New Personnel training helper.
• Equipment and machinery installation assistance.
• Tooling and fixtures design, including tooling and fixtures control.
• Pilot run & new models launch supporting.
• Responsible for applying all requirements related to EMS, ISO 9001/ 14001/45001/50001/ Green Spirit/Zero Waste Landfill according to the position.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering.
• Bilingual English – Spanish
• 2 + years of experience on manufacturing eng. in areas such as industrial and process improvement engineering and related support areas.
• Computer skills

Prefered Qualifications

• Significant experience in cross-functional manufacturing processes and thorough understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication skills and unique ability to provide direction of technical and complex issues to non-technical personnel in a manner that is fully understood and supported.
• Experience in follow up several projects at same time and deadlines, track record of successfully completing projects on time.
• History of successful experience in the development of high-performance work teams including establishing training and development processes.
• Computer literate including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Experience in uptime improvements, scrap reductions process and ownership of area form and processes delivery standpoint.
