Bluelight LLC in Mexico is seeking a backend software engineer to design and implement high-performance services using Elixir and the Phoenix framework. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into scalable, reliable APIs.

The role emphasizes ownership of features, testing, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, agile environment with remote-friendly policies and opportunities for professional growth.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience focusing on backend systems.
• Proficiency with Elixir and Phoenix, including OTP and distributed architectures.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL) and using PostgreSQL (Ecto).
• Strong product sense, reliability, and scalability.
• Excellent communication in an agile, collaborative team.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements.
• Own features from conception to launch, including specs and release readiness.
• Write unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews.
