Bluelight LLC is seeking a backend-focused software engineer with strong Elixir and Phoenix experience. The role involves designing scalable services, building robust RESTful APIs, and collaborating across product, design, and engineering teams.

You will own features from conception to release, implement tests, and contribute to performance improvements while staying up-to-date with the Elixir ecosystem.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend development experience in a professional setting.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements.
• Own features from conception to launch, writing clean code and specs.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Stay current with Elixir ecosystem trends and best practices.
