Bluelight LLC is seeking a backend-focused software engineer to design, build, and maintain high-performance services using Elixir and the Phoenix framework. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable, reliable systems.

You will own features from conception to release, write tests, and continually improve performance while aligning with agile practices.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, backend focus.
• Expertise with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems.
• Designing RESTful APIs (and GraphQL) and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Strong product sense, reliability, and scalability.
• Excellent communication in a collaborative, agile team.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements.
• Own features from conception to launch with clear technical specs and releases.
• Write unit/integration tests, participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve performance and scalability.
• Stay current with Elixir ecosystem trends to drive improvements.
