Molex in Mexico is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production lines running safely and efficiently. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements of automation systems to support operational excellence.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, applying TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement practices while documenting processes and contributing to audits and compliance. Prior PLC/robotics experience is preferred.

Formación

• Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automation systems.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary maintenance team dedicated to continuous improvement, safety, and quality. We collaborate closely with production, safety, and engineering teams to achieve our business goals.

What You Will Do

• Lead and promote safety and environmental standards, ensuring compliance and proactive risk prevention.
• Analyze and improve equipment performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting TPM and 5S activities.
• Diagnose equipment failures, recommend countermeasures, and communicate solutions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate documentation, participate in audits, and contribute to the development and implementation of management systems.
• Foster a culture of quality, ethics, and teamwork, acting as a role model for company values.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automation, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and using Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of PLCs (Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens), robots (Fanuc, Kuka), and inverters.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of Mexican health, safety, and environmental standards.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience with reliability centered maintenance principles.
• Specialization in automation/PLC/robotics or electrical/electronics.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and advanced troubleshooting of industrial networks (Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet).
• Demonstrated leadership in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
