Emerson is seeking a Safety and EHS Specialist to support and maintain workplace safety programs in a manufacturing setting. You will conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and job safety evaluations to mitigate risks and protect employees.

You will lead incident investigations, audits, and regulatory compliance activities, while promoting hazard identification and behavior-based safety. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen safety culture and ensure regulatory alignment.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience supporting EHS programs in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience in incident investigations, audits, inspections, and regulatory activities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and incident analysis.
• Familiarity with industrial hygiene, ergonomics, contractor safety management, and emergency planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with EHS management systems is a plus.
• Intermediate English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Degree in engineering, occupational safety, environmental sciences, or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Support, implement and maintain workplace safety programs and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and job safety evaluations.
• Conduct incident, accident, and near-miss investigations and drive root cause analysis.
• Perform safety inspections, audits, and facility assessments for compliance.
• Support contractor safety management and high-risk activities (LOTO, working at heights, etc.).
• Promote hazard identification, near-miss reporting, and behavior-based safety.
• Coordinate occupational health programs including industrial hygiene monitoring.
• Develop and deliver EHS training, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Support emergency preparedness activities and drills.
• Monitor and report EHS performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen safety culture and meet business goals.
