Emerson is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety professional to join our Mexicali manufacturing site. The role focuses on developing and maintaining robust safety programs, leading incident investigations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across operations.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or safety, experience with EHS systems, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Formación

• Experience supporting Environmental, Health, and Safety programs in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and incident investigation techniques.
• Familiarity with industrial hygiene, ergonomics, contractor safety management, emergency response planning, and behavior-based safety programs.
• Intermediate English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety programs and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and job safety evaluations to identify and mitigate risks.
• Lead incident investigations and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform safety inspections, audits, and facility assessments for regulatory compliance.
• Support contractor safety programs including LOTO, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Hot Work, and Electrical Safety.
