Flex is seeking a Director, Logistics in Guadalajara North to lead global logistics strategy, vendor governance, and end-to-end optimization across complex industrial environments. You will drive cost efficiency, implement standard processes, and partner with executives on key logistics initiatives.

The role requires extensive logistics leadership, strong English, and experience with YMS/TMS/WMS and security compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in complex industrial logistics and transportation operations.
• Proven expertise in Yard Management, freight traffic control, dock capacity planning, shipping and receiving.
• Experience implementing or managing YMS, TMS, WMS, appointment scheduling systems and Control Towers.
• Proven leadership of end-to-end logistics transformation initiatives.
• Experience establishing governance, SOPs, capacity controls, KPIs and escalation processes.
• Strong background managing carriers, 3PLs, cross-docks and external yards.
• Practical knowledge of OEA, CTPAT, IMMEX and supply chain security compliance.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and ability to influence GMs and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in EMS, electronics, automotive or high-complexity manufacturing environments.
• Advanced English and strong analytical, change management and continuous improvement skills.

• Develop global logistics strategy with focus on cost, speed and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce total transportation costs.
• Implement and maintain standard logistics processes and KPIs.
• Build relationships with strategic customers and resolve issues.
• Lead and develop personnel across sites to execute global strategies.
• Collaborate with executives and clients on negotiations and governance.
• Recruit and retain a qualified logistics workforce.
