Flextronics - The Flex Company in Guadalajara is seeking a Director of Logistics to lead the global logistics strategy and cost-out initiatives for a high-complexity manufacturing network.

You will drive end-to-end logistics transformation, governance, KPI development, and cross-functional collaboration with senior leadership to deliver reliable service and reduced costs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in complex industrial logistics and transportation operations.
• Proven expertise in Yard Management, freight traffic control, dock capacity planning, shipping and receiving.
• Experience implementing or managing YMS, TMS, WMS, and Control Towers.
• Proven leadership of end-to-end logistics transformation initiatives.
• Experience establishing governance, SOPs, capacity controls, KPIs and escalation processes across multiple sites.
• Strong background managing carriers, 3PLs, cross-docks, and external yards.
• Advanced English with strong analytical and change management skills.

As a ***Director, Logistics*** you are Responsible for development, execution, and ongoing management of the Global Logistics strategy. Working with the transportation providers and operations, develop global and regional strategies and initiatives to meet current and future business needs. Identify and implement continuous improvement projects designed to lower total transportation cost, at reduced transit times, with increased reliability.**What a typical day looks like:*** Develop overall strategy that focuses on cost, speed, and reliability of the services provided to business. Work with the business to develop appropriate metrics and KPI’s and manage accordingly. Provide strategic alignment with Corporate strategies and initiatives.* Drive continuous improvement in the efficiency of transportation expenditures across the company.
