Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and run cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability for Data & AI teams in a PCI-compliant environment. You will implement IaC, manage Kubernetes clusters, and automate security and reliability across multiple clouds.

You will collaborate with developers across time zones, own incident response, and help shape internal platform standards as the stack evolves for teams in India and the U.S.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional DevOps, SRE, or platform-engineering experience operating production services.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, plus infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation).
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE) and container tooling (Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux).
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or Go; solid SQL skills; experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with observability stacks (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Datadog).
• Solid cloud security and PCI-compliance knowledge for regulated environments.
• Ability to work independently and in a team across time zones, including on-call rotations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Strategy, Roadmap & Vision for DevOps and observability in Data & AI teams.
• Design and build cloud infrastructure as code for AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Own CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI; blue-green or canary deployments.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE) and container workloads with Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux.
• Build observability with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or Datadog.
• Implement security and compliance controls: IAM, SSO, secrets management (Vault / KMS), policy-as-code (OPA), PCI patterns.
• Lead incident response: on-call, runbooks, post-mortems, reliability improvements.
• Partner with developers on local dev experience and internal tooling.
• Help shape internal platform standards as the stack evolves for India and U.S. teams.
• Collaborate across environments with developers, AI engineers, QA, DBAs, and product partners.
