Job summary

Copeland LP is seeking a Planner/Buyer to ensure material readiness, optimize inventory, and sustain supply continuity for production schedules and customer demand. You will translate priorities into material plans, mitigate risks, and support cross-functional teams to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Procurement, plus strong analytical and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of supply chain planning experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and inventory management skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; Power BI experience preferred.
• APICS certification, Lean, Six Sigma, Kanban, or related continuous improvement methodologies are a plus.
• Fluent English, writing and speaking

Responsibilities

• Ensure material availability by analyzing demand, inventory levels, and planning parameters to support production schedules and customer priorities.
• Identify material shortages, supply risks, and constraints; develop recovery and mitigation plans.
• Maintain planning parameters including lead times, safety stock, reorder points, lot sizes, and planning policies and optimize inventory levels while reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and product transitions.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data analysis to support planning decisions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure production continuity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, inventory, and material flow.
