Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Planner/Buyer to ensure material readiness and maintain supply continuity to support production schedules and customer demand in Reynosa, Mexico. You will translate production priorities into material plans, monitor inventory, and mitigate risks with the Master Scheduler and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in supply chain planning, strong ERP/MRP experience (Oracle/SAP), advanced Excel and Power BI skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of supply chain planning experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP, or equivalent).
• APICS certification, Lean, Six Sigma, Kanban, or related continuous improvement methodologies are a plus.
• Fluent English, writing and speaking

Responsibilities

• Ensure material availability by analyzing demand, inventory levels, and planning parameters to support production schedules and customer priorities.
• Identify material shortages, supply risks, and constraints; develop recovery and mitigation plans.
• Maintain planning parameters including lead times, safety stock, reorder points, lot sizes, and planning policies and optimize inventory levels while reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and product transitions.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data analysis to support planning decisions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure production continuity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, inventory, and material flow.
