Ensambles Hyson, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a Buyer Planner to coordinate production schedules and inventory control, ensuring on-time delivery to customers in a fast-paced manufacturing operation.

The role requires close collaboration with manufacturing, quality and engineering teams, managing MRP/ERP data, forecasts, stock programs and supplier performance while driving improvements in cost, delivery, and service levels.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related field.
• 3+ years in materials management, planning or operations.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills with a track record of achievements.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and take on new challenges.
• PC proficiency and ERP systems experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and teamwork orientation.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and issue production schedules and manage completion to schedule performance.
• Oversee sales forecasts, finished goods safety stock, and alignment of shipping to meet on-time requirements.
• Utilize MRP systems to achieve 99.5%+ customer service levels.
• Coordinate with warehouse for inventory control, receipts, shipments, and cycle counts.
• Develop strategies to ensure material availability to meet production plans.
• Lead SASP/ SIOP processes and cross-functional coordination.
• Resolve delivery, quality, or production issues promptly per SOPs.
• Setup BOMs, routers, and transfer attributes in ERP systems.
• Coordinate logistics to meet customer delivery dates.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position works closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering groups. The Buyer Planner plans and issues production schedules and manages completion to schedule performance. The Buyer Planner oversees sales forecast, maintains finished goods safety stock, and aligns shipping of product to meet on-time customer requirements

• Utilization of Materials Requirements Planning systems to offer 99.5%+ customer service levels.
• Actively participate in New Product Development projects as a Materials representative.
• Maintain and develop stock programs as defined by Sales and Materials department.
• Assure that problems relating to delivery, quality or production are promptly resolved in a timely manner per standard procedures.
• Will be responsible to meet inventory targets for finish goods.
• Develop strategies to ensure material availability to meet production plans.
• Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning understanding and execution.
• Coordination of the warehouse team in inventory control, material receipts, shipments and cycle count inventory.
• Continually work to improve quality, delivery and costs.
• Expertise managing high exposure projects, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in manufacturing planning capacity.
• Ability to read and create MRP reports, stock status reports, material variance reports, assembly and machining load reports, and customer order shortage report.
• Responsible for the initial set-up phase of PeopleSoft by creating BOM’s, routers, transfer attributes, etc.
• Coordinate the logistics portion of shipments to mee delivery dates according to Customer’s needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in materials management, planning and/or operations.
• Demonstrated leadership, and negotiation skills,
• Successful track record of Achievements,
• Ability to learn quickly and willingness to take on new challenges,
• Skilled in PC applications and ERP systems experience,
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills,
• Skillful managing sense of urgency
• Team oriented individual.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• ERP Oracle, PeopleSoft Manufacturing experience
• Ability to manage high exposure projects.
• Lean manufacturing or Lean six sigma experience.
• CPIM APICS.
