Job summary

DiDi seeks a data-driven BI Intern to help enhance data visibility for DiDi's delivery operations in Mexico. You will work with the CX team to understand data needs, design reports, and embed AI-driven analytics into BI dashboards.

You will gain hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Excel, and dashboard tools while learning best practices in data analysis from senior BI staff. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Active student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related analytical discipline.
• Data-driven mindset with interest in BI/Analytics/Consulting and passion for numbers and improvement.
• Curiosity about AI tools and coding assistants to enhance data analysis and workflows.
• Core technical foundations: Excel and SQL (basic hands-on knowledge).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to share insights with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in English (B2-C1).
• Bonus: familiarity with Python or R.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CX team and other stakeholders to understand data needs and design reports under team guidance.
• Design and develop reports and alert systems to improve access to key business information.
• Continuously refine and update reports to align with evolving business requirements.
• Explore and integrate AI-driven analytics features within BI reports to surface key metrics.
• Conduct training sessions to help users leverage reports for business insights and foster a data-driven decision-making culture.
• Support Business Process teams by integrating user manuals and documentation for proper report usage, using generative AI tools to draft technical docs.
• Gain hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Excel and dashboard tools and learn AI workflows to generate insights.
• Assist BI team in qualitative research and sentiment analysis to understand the voice of the customer.
• Observe and learn best practices in data analysis and reporting from senior BI members.
• Help organize and prepare datasets for analysis and streamline data cleaning workflows with AI.
