Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Inventory Management professional in Monterrey, Mexico to oversee inventory levels for new product qualifications, pre-pilot and portions of pilot assemblies associated with SMT/DF activities. You will interface with management to set standards and coordinate with ORT, test, planning and production teams to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 2+ years of related experience and must be available for three shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 2+ years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Availability for three shifts.

Responsibilities

• Confer with management to set production/quality standards and obtain data on products ordered.
• Monitor materials on the production floor, stockroom and in transit.
• Communicate with customers about all aspects of builds.
• Coordinate with ORT, test, planning and production teams to align customer priorities.
• Coordinate production with procurement, maintenance and quality control.
• Review reports to identify causes of nonconformity and production problems.
• Develop and implement methods to eliminate issues and improve quality.
• Consult with engineering to modify machines/equipment for better production.
• Monitor yield to advise on corrective actions with the product under evaluation.
• Adhere to safety and health rules and company policies.
• Follow all security procedures.
