Job summary

Jabil in Mexico, Baja California, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to manage a production shift, ensuring schedules, quality and cost objectives are met. You will lead recruitment coordination, coach staff, and collaborate with engineering and quality control to optimize production and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 2+ years of experience or equivalent. This is a full-time on-site position within the Jabil manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a production shift to meet schedules, quality, and cost objectives.
• Recruit and retain: communicate criteria to recruiters for manufacturing candidates; monitor turnover and implement improvements.
• Develop and coach manufacturing staff to deliver excellence for customers.
• Oversee performance management and ensure timely team member evaluations and adherence to policies.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance and quality control to optimize production and utilization of resources.
• Conduct daily shift meetings and sustain 5S processes to improve efficiency.
• Review schedules, labor reports and ECNs; manage deviations and CARs; ensure safe operations and compliance.
