Job summary

Jabil in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking an Inventory and Production Coordinator to manage inventory levels for new product qualifications, pre-pilot and pilot assemblies related to SMT and DF activities. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; and two plus years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels for new product qualifications, pre-pilot and pilot assemblies related to SMT and DF activities.
• Confer with management to establish production and quality control standards and obtain data on types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
• Monitor material evolution on production floor, stockroom and in transit; communicate with customer regarding builds.
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize production and utilization of resources.
• Review production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to identify causes of nonconformity and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement operating methods and procedures to eliminate issues and improve product quality.
• Consult with engineering on modification of machines and equipment to improve production and quality.
• Monitor yield information to guide customer actions for product under evaluation.
