Job summary

Jabil in Mexico is seeking a Logistics Analyst to evaluate the site’s logistics function and recommend best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy of shipments.

You will monitor material movements, coordinate with internal teams and partners, reconcile inventory, and generate reports on transit status and performance metrics.

Strong PC skills and experience with ERP systems are essential; you should be detail oriented and able to communicate issues clearly to support timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient PC use including Windows OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.

Responsibilities

• Performs all necessary manual system transactions for any materials function.
• Monitors shipment of materials between site and other Jabil locations or partners.
• Interacts with other departments to expedite shipments of materials.
• Resolves exceptions with Business Unit, partners and/or providers.
• Processes freight claims for lost or damaged freight.
• Researches and resolves exceptions in a timely manner.
• Performs information systems transactions to reflect movement of materials.
• Reconciles discrepancies in inventory records.
• Performs Stop-Ship segregation and status of such.
• Provides customer/management reports on inventory or in-transit goods as needed.
• Reports weekly and monthly performance metrics.
