TTI, Inc. is seeking a Financial Controller focused on F&A to lead Finance & Accounting for a large manufacturing operation in Torreón. The role oversees month-end close, financial reporting, tax filings, and system integrity, driving operational improvements through finance.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in accounting/audit with 5+ years in management, an accounting degree, and strong English communication to collaborate with global teams.

Formación

• +8 years of experience in accounting/audit with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Accounting degree or similar.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; flexible with tight schedules.
• Analytical problem-solving skills including research, analysis, and reconciliation.
• Oracle ERP experience preferred; Big 4 experience a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and personnel management capabilities.
• Advanced English: ability to communicate with international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Review and approve account reconciliations and journal entries; guide the team on technical aspects.
• Prepare monthly financial statement packages with footnotes and schedules.
• Complete P&L and Balance Sheet reviews for data integrity across systems.
• Perform variance analysis on material, labor, and overhead costs with insights.
• Lead annual budgeting and variance analysis processes.
• Present month-end results to CFO and leadership with recommendations.
• Oversee Travel & Expense accounting processes and systems.
• Support internal and external tax and audit requests.
• Collaborate with corporate/intercompany teams on ad-hoc projects.
• Support cross-functional projects and department cost forecasting.
• Manage Capital Acquisition requests and ROI analyses.
• Establish methodologies to monitor and continuously improve systems and processes.

Job Description:

We are searching for a Financial Controller focused on F&A to lead Finance & Accounting for a large‑scale manufacturing operation. This role is about understanding the business deeply, challenging how things are done, and driving real operational improvement through finance. This position manages month‑end closing, analyzing financial information, preparing financial reports, overseeing tax and other regulatory filings and maintaining the integrity of the company’s overall financial system.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review and approve account reconciliations & journal entries, guiding the team on technical account aspects of entries/reconciliations.
• Work with the accounting team prepare monthly financial statement packages, footnotes, and schedules to corporate.
• Complete P&L and Balance Sheet reviews to ensure data integrity across various systems.
• Perform variance analysis on material, labor and overhead cost and provide insights and recommendations.
• Lead the annual budget process and subsequent analysis on actual and variances.
• Present month end results and provide recommendations to CFO and top leadership.
• Manage Travel & Expense accounting processes and system.
• Oversee and support all internal and external tax and audit requests.
• Work with Corporate and intercompany teams on special projects and ad-rock requests.
• Support cross functional projects and collaborate with the other departments on special assignments.
• Work with department heads to control and forecast department expenses.
• Manage and support guidance for Capital Acquisition Request and analysis. Partner with other business unit departments on ad-hoc projects to estimate ROI cost effectiveness of key decisions,
• Establishes methodology to monitor and continuously improve performance of systems / processes.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• +8 years of experience in accounting/audit role with at least 5 years as manager
• Accounting Degree or similar.
• Project management skills, organized, with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; including the ability to remain flexible when encountering tight time schedules
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to research, analyze, and reconcile
• Oracle ERP experience preferred, Big 4 experience is an advantage
• Interpersonal Skills and Personnel Management
• Responsible, dependable, and able to work in a fast‑paced team environment
• Advanced English (ability to communicate in English with people from other countries).
