Oferta confidencial in Saltillo, Coahuila, is seeking a Controller responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial activities. This role ensures the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with regulations while implementing effective internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience, including leadership roles, and must be bilingual in English and Spanish. The position is critical for supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis and operational insights.

Formación

• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
• At least 3–5 years in a leadership or Controller position.
• Experience within manufacturing, automotive, or maquiladora environments preferred.

Position Summary

The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial activities of the organization, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the implementation of effective internal controls. This position plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision‑making by providing financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and operational insights.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
• At least 3–5 years in a leadership or Controller position.
• Experience within manufacturing, automotive, or maquiladora environments preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Advanced understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing finance.
• Knowledge of Mexican and U.S. accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in multinational organizations.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency.
