Grupo TECMA is seeking a seasoned Accounting leader to oversee financial reporting, general accounting, budgeting, and internal controls across multi-site manufacturing operations. The role includes supervising staff, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities cover cost accounting, FP&A, and treasury support, with emphasis on ERP system usage and advanced Excel. English proficiency is required for cross-border coordination and audits.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (required).
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• English advanced.
• Experience with ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity.
• Maintain the integrity of financial records in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Analyze financial results and investigate significant variances.
• Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger functions.
• Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and cash management activities.
• Review and approve accounting transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze labor, material, and overhead variances in cost accounting.
• Partner with Operations to improve manufacturing efficiencies and cost controls.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff; provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard assets.
• ERP implementation and process improvements.
• Payroll and tax compliance.
• Business intelligence and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements.

General Accounting

• Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger functions.

• Develop KPIs and management reports.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.

Manufacturing Cost Accounting

• Analyze labor, material, and overhead variances.
• Review production costs and work order reporting.
• Partner with Operations to improve manufacturing efficiencies and cost controls.

Leadership

• Supervise and develop accounting staff.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Promote continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Serve as backup to the Controller when needed.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (required).

5–8 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
