Job summary

Condé Nast México & Latinoamérica is seeking a Content Integrity Editor based in the Mexico network hub to uphold editorial standards across digital and print content. You will work with fact-checkers, copy editors, legal affairs editors, and global workflow leadership to ensure accuracy and integrity.

The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years of journalism/editing experience, sharp research skills, and fluency in English, with a strong sense of brand voice and ethical reporting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional journalism/editing experience.
• Strong research skills and reputable sourcing practices.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and collaboration.
• Ability to verify facts and refine copy for readability.

Responsibilities

• Copyedit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, clarity, tone, consistency, and readability.
• Apply The Chicago Manual of Style, Merriam-Webster Dictionary, AP Stylebook, and brand-specific style guides accurately and consistently.
• Identify wording that may introduce factual ambiguity, unintended meaning, logical inconsistencies, or editorial concerns.
• Verify names, dates, statistics, quotes, and all factual claims across digital and print content.
• Conduct source checks and ensure accurate citation of original materials.
• Flag inconsistencies, unsupported assertions, or potentially misleading phrasing.
• Collaborate with editors, writers, and legal affairs to resolve factual queries.
• Apply cultural and contextual awareness to content involving sensitive topics.
• Track assignments and deadlines; communicate blockers or delays.
