Job summary

Monks, a premier global creative agency, seeks an Editorial Lead to launch and direct a regional digital entertainment publication for a major streaming platform in Mexico. You will define the local editorial voice, adapt global brand playbooks for Mexican audiences, and oversee a fast-paced newsroom covering TV, film, and digital pop culture.

You will bridge daily communications with international client stakeholders, embedding SEO and GEO across content to boost visibility and engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading digital editorial teams in Mexico.
• Bilingual fluent English and Spanish for international collaboration.
• Strong editorial standards and brand tone.
• Experience with data-informed editorial strategies and SEO.

Responsibilities

• Define and launch the editorial line and content strategy for the Mexican market.
• Review, edit, and QA syndicated localized content and features.
• Lead and mentor a lean newsroom of digital journalists and project managers.
• Establish SEO and GEO guidelines to maximize search visibility.
• Coordinate daily with international client teams and agency leadership.
